CHG175525 - Interac Scheduled Infrastructure Maintenance

Interac has informed Central 1 of planned infrastructure maintenance on Wednesday, October 14, from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. PT (Thursday, October 15, from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. ET). During this maintenance window, Interac will be upgrading firmware within its e-Transfer data centre infrastructure.

As part of this activity, there will be three brief intermittent service disruptions between 1:00 a.m. ET and 5:45 a.m. ET. In-flight Interac e-Transfer transactions may be impacted during these periods. The cumulative service disruption is expected to total approximately 45 minutes.

No action is required by clients. Central 1 will continue to monitor the maintenance and provide updates, as necessary.
