Central 1 will perform maintenance on its Universal Connectivity Switch (UCS) in the VAHC Kamloops data centre on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. PT (4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. ET). Central 1's Digital Banking platforms and many payment services rely on the UCS for connectivity to banking hosts.

Central 1's Digital Banking platforms, Bill Payments, and Interac e-Transfer services are expected to remain available throughout the maintenance. However, some bill payments submitted during the maintenance window may time out and fail.

Credit unions are encouraged to monitor Bill Payment connections following the maintenance, as some banking systems may require a connection reset to resume normal service.
